If there was ever a video that showed that tone comes from the fingers, this is it. A little MG Marshall amp and such a great, soulful tone. The slow guitar work later on in the video shows that a nice vibrato and correct 'bend to pitch' are skills that every guitar player should have. Amazing!
To be fair, his signature guitars are top-notch and the way the pickups react to the amount of volume given by the poti makes it easier to have this variety in the tone. But of course it's the playing that makes or breaks the sound.
